I can offer it for trade, but owning duplicates does not mean I have to offer them.
A GUIDE FOR YOUR NEXT TRADE
What you own. What is missing. And what you can share.
Keep quantities, wanted items and trade offers separate. A clear inventory helps you prepare trades without checking every box, album or board.
ONE REFERENCE, DIFFERENT SITUATIONS
Three records. Everything clear.
The record exists even though I do not own the piece yet.
I do not mark it for trade if I want to keep it.
FROM INVENTORY TO A SHARED LINK
A method for any collection.
Use it for pins, patches, coins, stamps, trading cards or stickers. Start by identifying each reference, then decide what you want to acquire or share.
One record per reference or variant
If the year, finish or edition changes the piece you are looking for, use a separate record. Choose names and references that distinguish them.
Record how many you own
Zero means you do not own it yet; one means you keep one unit; two or more means there are duplicates. The Duplicates filter shows items with more than one unit.
Mark what you want and offer for trade
In an item’s record, adjust Owned, Wanted and For trade. Wanted is the additional quantity you want to acquire; you can also want an item you already own. For trade is marked independently.
Filter and prepare your selections
Use Wanted, Duplicates or For trade within the collection. With a plan that includes lists, combine items from different collections in an automatic or manual list.
Publish only what you want to show
For a visitor to see an item, both the collection and the item must be public. Review field visibility too: share photographs and references while keeping prices and locations private.
Share and keep your data up to date
Share your profile, Wanted or For trade section, a collection or a list using its link or QR code. After a trade, update the quantity and wanted and trade flags.
DUPLICATE UNITS ARE DIFFERENT FROM DUPLICATE RECORDS
Several units, one record.
In Excel, two rows with the same name may be two records of one item. That differs from owning two units in a single record. Check whether to combine quantities or distinguish variants before importing.
The importer can skip repeated names, add another item or update its data. Updating does not automatically add quantities together. Review your choice and keep a copy of the original file.
Before sharing
- Quantities and statuses are up to date.
- Variants have distinct names or references.
- Private prices and locations are not visible.
- The link shows exactly the selection you want to share.

A few common questions
Does Tradix automatically know which pieces I am missing?
It does not include a complete catalogue of every collection. Add the references you want to acquire and mark them as wanted. Collection size is a target, not an automatic list of missing pieces.
Does owning a duplicate publish it for trade?
No. You choose which items to offer and what to publish. Owning more than one unit does not automatically enable trading or change privacy.
Can I share wanted items on the Free plan?
You can publish the collections and items allowed by your plan and share your profile’s wanted and trade sections. Creating independent lists requires a plan that includes them.
